One of the Chairmanship Aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State and a former Aide to Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and a notable leader of the party in Osun State, Hon. Funmiso Babarinde has enjoined Muslims in the country to join hands with those in position of authority to get serious with the project Nigeria in their efforts at rebuilding the country.

Babarinde made this assertion in his Sallah message to Muslim faithful in Osogbo which was made available to the media.

The PDP chieftain also added, "it is not enough to make statements about rebuilding and rebranding our nation alone, we must take positive steps to make those statements come to reality."

Honourable Babarinde said "the citizens as well as their leaders all have their separate roles to play in the actualization of the Nigeria of our dream," emphasizing that "the zeal and dedication that the Muslims exerted into the 30 days of abstinence from foods, drinks, women and other pleasures of life is an indication that Nigerians can truly achieve success in rebuilding our country if we can just be serious with it the way we were serious with the fourth Injunction of the Islamic faith which is Fasting and staying holy during the holy month of Ramadan."

Babarinde therefore appealed to all Nigerians to "brace up for the needed efforts to rebuild our country by supporting the government of the day in Osun and at the federal level because nobody will come and build our country for us."
