Oyewusi Congratulates Osun Citizens on Good Friday and Easter Celebration, 

"enjoins citizens to keep praying for the government of Senator Ademola Adeleke."
The House of Assembly-elect for Ife North State Constituency in Osun State, Hon. Akinyode Abidemi Oyewusi has congratulated Christians across Ife North Local Government area of Osun State on the occasion of Good Friday and Easter Celebration.


Oyewusi who spoke to journalists in Osogbo this morning which was made available to the press said that "Nigerians have truly learnt a lot of lessons in their association with God, going by their peaceful conducts during the ongoing Lenten periods in the state which incidentally coincided with the Muslim Ramadan Fasting period by continually giving peace the needed chance in Osun State."

Oyewusi added that "the spirit of Good Friday and Easter is sacrifice, love, compassion and dedication to God and humanity." 

He said the victory of good over evil came from the death of Jesus Christ on the cross and for someone to have surrendered his life for others means absolute dedication and display of extreme love."


Oyewusi therefore enjoined Christians to "imbibe and abide by the teachings of dedication and love which is inherent in the teachings of Easter even after the Lenten period."


Oyewusi added that the time for absolute peace and request for favour of God is now especially for the human face regime of the Peoples Democratic Party under the Leadership of Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke as our duly elected governor and the wonderful government needs the prayers and supports of the citizenry for the successful delivery of dividends of democracy to all and sundry which the people of Osun State truly deserve and which the governor is not only willing but has begun to deliver with all sincerity from his first day in office and it's still counting. 


He therefore appealed to the Christians and other faiths in Osun not to stop preaching peace by pursuing it wherever they find themselves even after the fasting period because development is possible and achievable only in a peaceful atmosphere. He therefore assured them that the government of PDP in Osun State will not let them down.
