GOOD BYE SOJI, GOOD BY MY BEST FRIEND OF MORE THAN FOUR DECADES, REST IN PEACE

PDP NATIONAL VICE CHAIRMAN, OLASOJI ADAGUNODO GIVEN STATE BURIAL IN OSUN AND OYO STATE.

As the late National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in the South West was laid to rest today, the entire South West leaders of thought converged in Ibadan to pay their last respect to the political Iconoclast and advocate of internal democracy, H.E. Excellency, Hon. Olasoji Clement Adagunodo-Oluwatukesi.

Adagunodo was widely referenced by notable leaders of government in and outside the South Western Zone of the country.

The state burial which began at Ilowa Ijesa on Tuesday, July 18th 2023 and ended with interment and Funeral service at his Church, Victory International Church Rehoboth Cathedral, Oluyole Estate, Ibadan with entertainment of guests at the ever busy and popular Jogor Events Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan.

The occasion was graced by the high and mighty, the who-is-who in Nigeria, political class, the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, NIQS, the chosen field of Adagunodo's business, Publishers, Senators, Governors, serving and former, Captains of industry, Clergymen of both Islamic and Christian faith.

Notable among dignitaries who grace the occasion from Tuesday include:

The Officiating Minister, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun of the Victory International Church, Rehoboth Cathedral said "there are seven characteristics of life which he listed as:

(1) Life is in donation not in duration;

Life is in character, not in power. 

Life is amplified by character not by power.", It is the character that speaks, not power.", 

Life is time less, existence is timed.", He therefore admonishes that people should not allow existence to destroy their lives.", 

Life is a gift" which must be cherished and taken care of 

And lastly he said Life is in phase which is bound to lapse and fade out with time. 

In his conclusion, Bishop Adelakun said among many good attributes of Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo that he lived a fulfilled life and he truly fulfilled all the characteristics of life which God sent him to come and fulfill in life.
