SUNDAY BISI IS INCOMPETENT. - Aggrieved Ife South Leaders.

Quite a number of misinformation and misfits characterized the just concluded list of Local Government Caretaker Committee Members in Osun State, especially in Ife South West Local Government Development Authority where one single Ward produced 2 councillors while others have no representation.

For instance at Kere Ward, the two councillors that emerged are :

(1) Alhaja Silifat Ajanaku, an alleged woman friend to the Senatorial Chairman, Mr. Akin Famuyide and Mr. Adeniran Ogunleye who joined PDP in February, 2023, shortly before Presidential and National Assembly elections. 

He has allegedly paid N2m for the post of the LG Chairman to the Senatorial Chairman, Mr. Akin Famuyide, Jaguu and his clicks but was given the councillor meant for another Ward in Ife South. 

Adeniran was the leader of anti-PDP group that worked against the emergence of Senator Ademola Adeleke on July 16, 2022 as an ardent follower of Hon. Yinusa Adebisi of APC.

Alhaja Ajanaku is from Araromi Oke-Odo, polling Unit, while Adeniran is from Ladugbo polling unit, all in the same Kere Ward.

For someone who chased all PDP members away during the governorship election of Senator Ademola Adeleke to be accorded the dignity of becoming a member of the LCDA caretaker Committee under the PDP administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke showed that those who should give them adequate information did not do good job for them or that Adeniran bought his way through as alleged by the masses.

This put a serious question on the competence of the Osun state Chairman of PDP, Hon. Sunday Bisi; the Executive Governor, Ademola Adeleke;  Hon. Niyi Owolade and  all of those who were supposed to let the leadership of the party to know the extent of political extremism Adeniran was involved in during the governorship election which he is now a champion.

At Abiriogudu, the current Party Chairman of the Ward, Hon. Goke Oladosu instead of nominating someone else nominated himself as the Councillor. He was elected as the substantive Ward Chairman during the last PDP Ward Congress in March, 2023 and he has just been sworn-in without resigning as stipulated by the Constitution of both PDP and Nigeria.

Also at Oke-Owena Ward, Mr. Lukeman Adegoke the Ward Chairman also nominated himself as the Councillor of Oke-Owena Ward and he is the serving Ward Chairman as well without resigning his position. 

Unfortunately Hon. Niyi Owolade, Mr. Akin Famuyide and  Hon. Diran Ayanbeku and others hid this fact from Governor Ademola Adeleke and his team.

Another unforgivable sin of Sunday Bisi and his incompetent excos in Ife South Local Government is that the Personal Assistant to Akin Famuyide, Hon. Muyiwa Aroke, a.k.a. Aro is the the newly elected Local Government Chairman while in Ife South West, another Person Assistant to the same Akin Famuyide, Mr. Gbenga Adebayo, alias Gboros is the newly sworn-in Secretary of the LCDA while his woman friend, Alhaja Silifat Ajanaku is also a Councillor. 

So, as it stands, all positions in that axis (Senatorial Chairman, LG Chairman, LCDA Secretary and one Councillor) are sandwiched under the same roof, inside the same house, in the hands of one single person while majority of those who actually used their times and money to support the governor are languishing in regrets.

Osi Ward which is one of the highly populated wards in Ife South has only Vice Chairman and no single Councillor in the present dispensation. The onus now if for Governor Ademola Adeleke to withdraw one of the Councillors lopsided in one Ward in the house of Akin Famuyide and give it to Osi Ward for equity and fairness's sake.
