A former media officer of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, Hon. Abayomi Ojo-Segun has bemoaned the undue agitation of some former PDP members against their own political party while the main opposition party, the APC itself has agreed that it failed the people of Osun State in its 12 years of fruitless administration in the state.
Ojo-Segun made this assertion today in a chat with journalists in Osogbo while analyzing the 365 days performance of the party in the government of Osun State under the leadership of Senator Ademola Adeleke.
Ojo-Segun stressed further that the ongoing opposition voice against the performance of Governor Adeleke's government is mainly from former members of the party who defected to the opposition party while the real APC members have truly gone down low because they know that their party truly failed the people of Osun State.
Ojo-Segun also commended the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke for confidently putting his traducers to shame by clearly and brilliantly challenging them to fact check all his claims of performance in the last one year of his stay in Office as Osun Governor.
Ojo-Segun said with this call by Governor Ademola Adeleke to his challengers, the governor has exhibited how daring he is to face those who are bent on destructive propaganda and falsehood just to discredit him and his team of performers.
He therefore called on Osun Indigenes and in fact all cabinet members of Governor Ademola Adeleke to remain focused, do what will make Osun State indigenes to continue to love PDP to remain in government.
In his words Ojo-Segun said,
"at this juncture, I will dwell on some comments by Osun indigenes who appreciated Governor Ademola Adeleke for fulfilling his electoral promises to his people but I also want PDP to come together and ensure oneness within the party for the good of everyone irrespective of political affiliations."
