LG Primaries: Ife North Concludes Process Without Rancour: Akande, others thank leaders for Support. Hon. Michael Akande, Ife North PDP LG Chairmanship candidate. The Peoples Democratic Party, Ife North Local Government Chapter on Monday 19th August concluded the processes of electing the democratically elected local government council officials ahead of the 2025 February elections. The processes which began a few weeks ago according the the OSSIEC guidelines had witnessed the election of delegates who elected councillors and Chairmanship candidates for the mostly on consensus mode. Hon. Michael Oluwole Akande was nominated as their preferred candidate by consensus, so also were other ten councillors from all the ten wards of the local government.
