PRESS STATEMENT 18 June 2026 OSUN 2026: NO PDP/ACCORD PARTY MEMBER DEFECTED TO APC – WARD 08, UNIT 18, AYEGBAMI The leadership of the Accord Party, Ward 08, Unit 18, Ayegbami, has noted with concern the misleading reports and deliberate misinformation being circulated regarding the purported defection of members of the PDP/Accord political family to the APC ahead of the forthcoming Osun State Governorship Election. For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to categorically state that no registered member of the Accord Party within Ward 08, Unit 18, Ayegbami defected to the APC as being falsely portrayed. It is important to emphasize that every political party operates a structured and verifiable membership system at the Unit, Ward and Local Government levels.
