The Honourable representing Ife Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro has dedicated his Certificate of Returns to the People of Ife Federal Constituency.
Ajilesoro who made this assertion at his Parakin Layout Residence in Ilé-Ifè which was made available to the press by his media handlers where he was received by his people with fanfare said he is most grateful to the leaders and members of the party at all levels for coming out enmass to defend the mandate they gave him.
According to Hon. Ajilesoro, "winning the election at the polling units was not the only source of today's celebration but for the Eagle eye focus of our leaders at the collation centres where the opposition political party almost rigged us out."
Ajilesoro who was particularly grateful to all leaders of the party from all the local government areas said the victory is a jointly achieved one and he promised to treat every section of Ife Federal Constituency with utmost respect they all deserve, the same way he has been doing since 2019 and promised to do more.
However, Ajilesoro called on all leaders and members of the party to ensure that the victory they have been achieving during the July 16, 2022 governorship election till February 25, 2023 must not wane for three major reasons.
One, the victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke is already in contention because of the APC petition to the Election Petition Tribunal largely with a wild allegations of over voting which has since been dispelled by the victory of PDP in the last Presidential and National Assembly elections through PDP's overwhelming victory.
The second reason for PDP to have total victory in the State House of Assembly election is because they are the direct political partners of Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke in the state and with them in the House, there will be less opposition to his good vision and mission for the people of Osun State.
Ajilesoro therefore canvassed massive support for all the PDP House of Assembly candidates on March 18 for the world to once again know that PDP truly is an acceptable political party for the people of Osun State.
He also added that Osun People should not forget that the past APC administration used the State House of Assembly members to cripple and kill the local government administration in the state and to revive the third tier of government in Osun State as Adeleke promised them, he will need the majority of the party members as legislators in the new dispensation so that any opposition to the lofty revival of local government administration will be nipped in the bud.
Finally, Ajilesoro promised his constituents a very robust and fair treatment under the new PDP administration with all hands on deck at all levels.
