AJILESORO FELICITATES WITH CONSTITUENTS ON EASTER CELEBRATION, CHARGES THEM TO CONTINUE TO BE HOLY

Honourable Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro Felicitates With Constituents on Easter,  ......charges Them To Continue on The Path of Holiness, Seek  Peace And Pursue it.

The Honourable representing Ife Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, Hon Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro has felicitated with the people of Ife Federal Constituency in particular and Osun State in general on the occasion of the Easter celebration, charging them not to depart from the path of holiness and pursuant of peace.

In a short message sent out by his media aide, Mr. Gideon Ayewa and made available to the press, Hon. Ajilesoro said "as the Christian faithful in Ife Federal Constituency of Osun State and the world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I, Hon. Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro also wish to felicitate with my Christian brothers and sisters on the occasion of the Easter as they end the Lenten periods today."

According to the message which was made available to the media in Ilé-Ifè Ajilesoro added "this season is an opportunity for us to understand and put into practice what God truly demands from us, the Lenten period teaches us to make sacrifice and uphold peace in the society we find ourselves by seeking peace and pursuing it with absolute love, dedication and sacrifice to others."

Ajilesoro also said this is definitely a good time to draw closer to God, seek forgiveness for our sins, renew our ways of life without going back to the life of sin."

In the light of the above, I hereby appeal to you, all my constituents and residents of Ife Federal Constituency of Osun State not to depart from those lofty lessons that are inherent in Easter and the fasting period, we must therefore allow those lessons to make great impacts in our lives positively."

"We are at a crossroads in our nation's history with a great quest for a better Nigeria and our quest for peace stares us in the face but I'm sure we all understand that achieving sussess in placing Nigeria  on the right path is a joint responsibility of all of us at our diverse various levels."

The amiable and most popular Representative of Ifeland added that "it is now time for every citizen of Osun State irrespective of political affiliation to see Osun as our joint heritage and it is incumbent on all of us to make sure that peace is allowed to reign supreme in the state."

Ajilesoro also added that those who are closer to people in authority must be sincere with their principals by offering them sincere advice which shall promote peace and harmonious living among the citizens." He begged them not to be selfish in their admonition by talking the truth to the authority from the local government level to the highest offices in the state."

He therefore appealed to the citizens to "give the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke the needed impetus that will let him deliver on his electoral promises to the people of the state which he has embarked upon in the last 100 days of his sojourn in office as Osun State Governor.
