Mayegun of Iwoland, Alhaji Debo Badru pays Adagunodo widow condolence visit: Delivered Governor Oyetola's message

The Chief Mayegun of Iwoland, Alhaji Debo Badru and his wife, Yeye Mayegun of Iwoland, Alhaja Badru this morning paid a condolence visit to the widow of The Late PDP National Vice Chairman, Deaconess Adeyinka Adagunodo Oluwatukesi.

Mayegun who expressed grief over the untimely death of his age long friend said the news of Adagunodo's death was a shock to him and the entire people of Osun State, including the immediate past Governor of the State, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola.

According to Governor Oyetola in a conversation on phone with Mrs. Adagunodo, "death is a necessary end which every human being must pass through. He therefore appealed to Mrs. Adagunodo to take the death of her husband as an act of God which nobody has power to change."

Governor Oyetola therefore prayed to God for protection over the wife and children of the departed soul.

The Yeye Mayegun, Alhaja Badru was all tears throughout the visit but appealed to the widow to look up to Almighty God who created life and also death through which he took it at his own appointed time and have faith in that God as the only one who can truly give her and her family the real condolence that will sooth her grieving heart.

Alhaji Debo Badru and his wife also appealed to Mrs. Adagunodo not to grieve too much as her attitude at this time will definitely affect the feelings of her children who need to see her as their pillar of support and their strength during this trying period.

He therefore prayed to Almighty Allah to uphold them and give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
