Contract Implementation and Infraction Investigation Committee in Osun begins work on past administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.

 

The task to ensure that the economic sabotage willfully visited on Osun State coffers  by the past officials in the immediate past Administration of Former Governor Oyetola in relation to contracts infractions did not  go unaccounted for, began today with the inauguration of the committee that will see to the full implementation of the White Paper which had been debated and exhausted by the 

Executive Council  at the cabinet.

To exemplify the importance of the state's duty, the inauguration was performed by no less a person than His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Osun State at the Government House earlier on, in the afternoon today, where the Government directed that actions must begin in earnest. 

On behalf of the Committee which comprises of the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Commissioner for Health, The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of the State, Special Adviser on Legal Matters, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works and Senior Special Assistant in charge of the Bureau of Social Services, The Chairman of the Implementation Committee who doubles as the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Honourable Kolapo Alimi minced no words to assure that the job at hand is a must done, even as he assured fair hearing to all that are concerned and he pledged that the interest of Osun State will be made paramount throughout our duty duration. He thanked the Governor for the confidence reposed in the abilities of all the Members. 

The public is assured that in the end of it all, Osun State will be the greatest Beneficiary of this action geared at attaining probity and accountability in public governance. We will keep the public abreast of all developments on this exercise since they are the very people in whose interest the Administration is working round the clock to serve. History will be kind to the Government for taking this bold step.
