Evaluating Hon. Soji Adetunji's nine months performance in Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency.

SOJ's media team chronicles the short period, yet noteworthy accomplishments of Hon Olusoji Abidemi Adetunji, House of Representatives member, representing Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin federal constituency.

Soji Adetunji, a brilliant  and intelligent representative with a rare passion for public service and humanity, whose achievements within a very short time has left his whole constituents and Osun at large astounded.

Overview of Achievements:

1. Formation of Advisory Council

 Hon Soji Adetunji currently maintains an advisory council that prepares reports of needs in his federal constituency across three local governments of Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odo-Otin, with a monthly budget of of 1.2million naira since 2023.

2. Enhancing Local Security

To better secure the lives and properties of his constituents, he donated a bus for the vigilante in Ifelodun Local Government with a grant of N420,000 for logistics. Donations to other local governments for adequate security are in progress. 

3. N25Million Appreciation Bonuses

A total of N25M Appreciation Bonuses expended as monthly stipends to Party Excos, Representatives across the three local government areas at state level and OIB Advisory Council members. For the records, payment commenced in March 2024 

4. Solar Light Installations:

 (a) He installed solar lights in all the palaces of traditional rulers in Ifelodun local government.

(b) Installation of solar light poles in the streets of the Odo Ofun area in Ikirun as a way to ensure safer streets and increased community productivity.

5. UTME Forms Procurement:

 At this time, that the nation is  witnessing a surge in number of out of school children, he did procure free UTME forms for qualified and prospective admission seekers across Odo-Otin/Boripe/Ifelodun federal constituency, a project handled by Prof. Sunday Owolabi of Babcock University.

6. December 2023 Christmas celebration

Hon Soji, MHR distributed 450 bags of rice as personal donations to various recipients, which included PDP members, traditional rulers, Party state executives, caretaker chairmen, and members of his campaign council during the 2023 elections. Cash donations of (N100,000 per ward) to 38 wards.

 

7. January 2024 Palliative Distribution

He never feigned ignorance of the hardship his constituents are going through. This led to the distribution of palliative rice to various groups: 

party executives, artisans, religious bodies, security agencies, NURTW, Okada riders, market women, disabled, and less privileged individuals across the three local governments.

8. Support for Infrastructure Development

Furthermore , Hon Soji Adetunji provided financial donations to towns and villages within the federal constituency during town hall unofficial events to support Infrastructural development as a way to make better, the lives of people at the grassroots. 

PROJECTS IN VIEW 

All inclusive empowerment program for the party members soon. 

(i) Over 100 youths to be trained in ICT skills and empowerment with necessary gadgets irrespective of political affiliations. 

(ii) Construction of block of classrooms in the 3 local governments to support the infrastructural activities of our leader, His Excellency Senator Ademola Jackson Nuruden Adeleke.

(iii) 2nd phase of solar street light to light up Boripe local government villages within a matter of weeks.

(iv) Grading and construction of roads.

(v)  Micro credit support for widows and less privileges. 

In a nutshell, the remarkable achievements outlined here reflect the dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment of Hon Olusoji Abidemi Adetunji to serve and uplift the lives of his constituents.
