Be Steadfast in Faith And Carry On With Your Righteous Deeds Henceforth, Asejere Charges Muslim Faithful On Eid-El-Fitri

The Honourable Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa has congratulated Muslims across boards on the celebration of Eid-el-fitr. 

In a statement personally signed by him made available through his media office which read in part;

"As we gather to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I am filled with immense joy and gratitude for the opportunity to extend my warmest wishes to our Muslim brothers and sisters across our nation. 

"This auspicious occasion marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection and heralds a time of joy, gratitude, and renewed spiritual vigor."

"Eid-el-Fitr holds profound significance in Islam, not only as a celebration of breaking the fast but also as a reminder of the values of compassion, generosity, and unity that lie at the heart of the faith. It is a time when families and communities come together to share in the blessings of food, fellowship, and gratitude for the countless blessings bestowed upon us.

"As a nation, we are blessed with diversity, and it is in moments like Eid-el-Fitr that we are reminded of the strength and beauty that comes from our unity in diversity. Regardless of our background, ethnicity, or beliefs, we stand together in solidarity, bound by our shared humanity and our shared commitment to building a better, more inclusive society for all."

"As a politician, I am deeply committed to representing and serving all members of our community, regardless of their faith or background. Eid-el-Fitr serves as a reminder of the importance of reaching out to one another with empathy and understanding of standing together in solidarity against injustice and oppression, and of striving to build a society where everyone can live with dignity and respect."
