Osun Primary Healthcare Renovation Project Committee visits Ife-South and Atakunmosa West local government areas.

Osogbo, 18th October, 2024.

Today, the Osun Primary Healthcare Renovation Project Committee were in the remote communities and hinterlands of Ife-South and Atakunmosa West local government area of the state in furtherance of implementing Governor Ademola Adeleke’s drive to ensure access to quality basic healthcare service by the good people of Osun. 

The team led by the Project coordinator, Dr Akindele Adekunle were in Odesan PHC, Oke-Owena and Fayemi Ikija PHC, Ifetedo in Ife South local government to assess the level of progress of the rehabilitation and upgrading of the health facilities by the Governor Ademola Adeleke administration. 

Other health facilities inspected by the State Project team on Friday include, Asawo PHC, Iyere PHC, Itagunmodi PHC, and Ipoye PHC in Atakunmosa West local government area of the state. 

So far, the project team team have been on project monitoring and assessment tour to 23 local government area of the state in the 3rd and 4th phase of the ongoing intervention of the state government in the primary healthcare system of the state. 

The team which includes Alhaji Tajudeen Adisa, Dr Michael Oyerinde, Engr Adekunle Adeboyejo and other supporting members will continue its project monitoring and assessment tour as scheduled in the following days in a bid to ensure timely completion of the project according to the mandate of Governor and supervising authorities.
