HON. SANYA OMIRIN EMPOWERS CONSTITUENTS WITH INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINE AND START UP CAPITAL WORTH 5MILLION  NAIRA.

Ilesa, 1st November, 2024.

Member, House of Representatives from Ijesa South Federal Constituency, Hon Sanya Omirin today empowered 100 women and youths across the four Local Government Areas in Ijesa South Federal Constituency with electric sewing machine and startup capital of #50,000 each. 


The beneficiaries who had been enrolled by the Honourable to undergo 12 months training in the fashion skills were discharged today with their equipment and capital to setup their own shop.

Special Adviser to the Governor and former House of Representatives member Hon. Emiola Fakeye, appreciates the good gesture of the MHR and equally tasks the recipients of the empowerment to use the opportunity to better their lives and the community at large.

Hon. Alade Ibironke (Dangote), the PDP Chairmanship candidate for Atakumosa East local government admonished the  beneficiaries to ensure they practice the skills impacted in them and make proper use of the sewing machines given to them.

Also speaking at the program, Hon. Taiwo Ilesanmi, PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Ilesa East local government said he's not taken aback by the good deeds of Hon. Sanya Omirin because it has been in him to give back to his community since his time as the Local Government Secretary, Chairman and Federal Commissioner.

The PDP Ilesa West Local Government Chairman Hon. Alhaji Mudasiru Olamilekan Lawal in his words said the beneficiaries should continue to pray for the MHR because this kind of empowerment is rare in the history of Ijesa South politics.

Hon. Adewumi Adediran and Hon. Funsho Ogedengbe immediate past caretaker Chairmen Atakumosa East and Caretaker Chairman Ilesa North East LCDA charged the participants to use the equipment for it's purpose because the MHR will be impressed to bring more dividends of Democracy.

Beneficiaries of the empowerment said they were amazed by what was given to them as it wasn't their expectations and pray for continuous success of the MHR
