Asejere Makes a Personal Donation of N250,000 to Ororuwo's Ultra-Modern Palace Initiative.
In a display of Osun State's dedication to fostering community development, the Chairman, Osun State Commissioners' Forum and the Honourable Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa Asejere represented Governor Ademola Adeleke at the 31st Ororuwo Day Celebration.
This special occasion, celebrated under the royal leadership of HRM Oba Bello Qumar-deen Adeyemi Adeyanju, Ilufemiloye I, Akinwode IV, Olororuwo of Ororuwo Land, highlighted the town's cultural heritage and marked the official launch of a Five Hundred Million Naira fund-raising effort for a proposed ultra-modern palace.
In his keynote address, Asejere expressed Governor Adeleke's heartfelt congratulations to Oba Adeyanju and the people of Ororuwo on the success of this year's day celebration. He stated the importance of the new palace project, which promises to add to Ororuwo's development and enrich its cultural heritage.
Speaking on behalf of Governor Adeleke, Asejere emphasized the Gov. Adeleke administration's dedication to enhancing life for rural communities, pledging continued support to elevate infrastructure in rural areas and bring the standard of living closer to that found in urban centers across Osun State. He noted that the governor's support for the palace fund-raising initiative would soon be formally announced, underscoring the administration's strong backing of initiatives that promote cultural heritage and community developments.
In a gesture of personal commitment, Asejere donated two hundred and fifty thousand naira(#250,000) towards the palace fund-raising, contributing significantly to the momentum of the project and reinforcing the government's shared vision with the Ororuwo community. His contribution was warmly received and applauded by attendees as a symbol of solidarity with the community's goals.
Several other esteemed personalities graced the event, including Hon. Soji Ajeigbe, Honourable Commissioner for Protocol and Government Affairs, who served as the Chief Host of the occasion. Distinguished figures such as Barrister Ayodeji Atoyebi, Chairman of the Osun Progressives Union (O.P.U), also attended, bringing their support to Ororuwo's cultural and infrastructural aspirations.
Adding to the grandeur of the day's festivities was HRM Oba Oyebade Oyeleye of Ipole-Ijesha Land, whose presence reinforced the cultural unity and traditional richness of Osun communities.
As the 31st Ororuwo Day Celebration concluded, the atmosphere was filled with optimism for the future.
