Hon. George Alabi, Others Honoured by NIESV, Head of Firm Forum, Osun Branch for Exceptional Contributions

The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), Head of Firm Forum, Osun State Chapter, on December 19, 2024, presented an Award of Recognition to the Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning, Hon. George Alabi, alongside other distinguished personalities.This award acknowledges their invaluable support and significant contributions to the growth and development of the professional body.

The NIESV Head of Firm Forum, Osun Branch commended Hon. George Alabi for his exceptional leadership and remarkable accomplishments since assuming office less than two years ago. His tireless efforts in ensuring that the professional body received the debts owed by the previous administration under the progressive governance of Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke were highlighted as a key achievement.

The forum also lauded Hon. Alabi for his commitment to fostering an enabling environment for the effective performance of their staff and management.

His inclusive leadership has ensured that the professional body enjoys maximum recognition and collaboration with the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning. The forum added. 

Speaking after receiving the award, Hon.George Alabi expressed profound gratitude for the honour, pledging to continue his unwavering support for the development of the NIESV, Head of Firm Forum, Osun Branch.

Among the other recipients of the prestigious award were Dr. B.T. Salam, Commissioner for Special Duties and Regional Integration; Mr. Bashir Bello, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works; and Dr. Filtrz Mobolaji Olaoye, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Lands.

The recognition underscores the unparalleled performance of Hon. George Alabi, who has consistently raised the bar for excellence within the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning, achieved groundbreaking milestones in the process.
