Yuletide Greetings: Hon. George Alabi Calls for Love, Peace, and Unity Among Christian Faithful

The Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning in Osun State, Hon. George Alabi, has extended warm felicitations to Christian faithful across the state and beyond on the joyous occasion of Christmas.

In a statement issued through his media office, the Ejigbo-born politician described Christmas as a season of immense love, selflessness, and togetherness. He urged Christians to embrace the true essence of the celebration by spreading love, kindness, and hope, especially to the less privileged, the needy and their brethren. He emphasized the need to contribute positively to the well-being of humanity as an expression of the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hon. Alabi reminded Christians of their divine mandate to be their 'brother's keeper' by demonstrating acts of kindness and fostering peaceful coexistence with friends, neighbors, and family members. He called on everyone to strengthen their commitment to living in harmony, promoting unity, and upholding the values of compassion and forgiveness.

Furthermore, the Honourable Commissioner appealed to Christians to take time during this festive period to pray for the continued success and good health of the people's friendly Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke. He expressed confidence that with divine guidance, the Governor would continue to achieve remarkable milestones in his mission to transform the state.

"As we celebrate this Yuletide, let us remember the core message of Christmas, which is love. Let us spread joy and extend a helping hand to those in need. Together, we can create a society grounded in peace, unity, and mutual respect,” Hon. Alabi said.

He concluded by wishing all Christians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year filled with blessings, joy, and abundant grace.
