George Alabi Co-Sponsors and Attends the 14th Annual Inter-house Sports Competition at Unity School, Ejigbo.

The Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning, Hon. George Ibitayo Alabi, graced the 14th Annual Inter-house Sports Competition at Unity School, Ejigbo, today, where he participated as one of the distinguished house sponsors.
Hon. Alabi represented the Yellow House, Oba Abidjan, as part of a tribute to the late Oba Abidjan, in recognition of his legacy and contributions to the community. Other houses that participated in the competition included Asagade (Blue), Adebowale (Red), and Alare (Green).
In his remarks, Hon. George Alabi commended the school management, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), the Old Students Association, and all other house sponsors for their outstanding efforts in organizing such a well-executed event. He also encouraged the students to continue striving for academic excellence, emphasizing that "success is not only measured by victories in sports but also by embracing values like fairness, perseverance and teamwork."
The competition was concluded with the following results:
Adebowale House (Red) 1st Place
Oba Abidjan House (Yellow) 2nd Place
Alare House (Green) – 3rd Place
Asagade House (Blue) - 4th Place.
The event was further graced by notable personalities, including Hon. Olujinmi Asagade (who was ably represented); Hon. Dipo Eluwole, Commissioner for Education (also represented); Hon. Timothy Folaranmi; Hon. Solomon Owalude, Chairman; Mr. Olukunle Olodo, Co-Chairman; Mrs. Basirat Aro, Chairperson; Chief Mrs. Khadijat Olawole, Co-Chairperson; Mr. S.A. Adunola, Principal; Imam Abdul-Rasheed Onifade, PTA Chairman; Mr. Kamoru Oyelade, Chairman Sports Committee; Engr. Akinleye Monsuru Tunde, BOG Chairman; and several other esteemed guests.
The Honourable Commissioner expressed his gratitude for the successful event and reiterated his commitment to supporting educational initiatives in his hometown.
