George Alabi Commends PDP South-West Congress, Advocates Regional Development Agenda.

Osogbo, April 16, 2025

The Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning in Osun State,Hon. George Ibitayo Alabi, has commended the smooth and peaceful conduct of the PDP South-West Zonal Congress held in Ibadan, describing it as a clear reflection of the party’s maturity and commitment to internal democracy. He congratulated the newly elected executives and praised the collaborative spirit of delegates from across the region.

Hon. Alabi emphasized that the emergence of a new zonal leadership presents a timely opportunity for the PDP to deepen its influence in the South-West through strategic partnerships and developmental planning. “Our region must now prioritize inclusive growth, land reforms, and sustainable infrastructure to improve the quality of life for our people,” he said.

He further applauded Governors Ademola Adeleke and Seyi Makinde for their stabilizing roles in steering the party toward unity and progress. According to him, their leadership continues to provide a strong foundation for the party’s strength and relevance in the region.

Hon. Alabi called on the new PDP zonal executives to embrace innovation, grassroots engagement, and developmental synergy across states. He reaffirmed his ministry’s readiness to align with the broader vision of building a more planned, livable, and prosperous Osun State within a united South-West.
