Osogbo, April 10, 2025.

The Deputy Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Akinyode Oyewusi was on facility tour of the 80-Bed Hospital facilitated by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Former President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr. Femi Adesina, an indigene of Ipetumodu in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State.

In his report, Rt. Hon Abidemi Akinyode Oyewusi wrote "Yesterday, I went on a facility tour of the 80-Bed Hospital in Ife North, a significant healthcare project facilitated by Mr. Femi Adesina, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to former President Muhammadu Buhari.

I was joined on the tour by Dr. Akindele Adekunle, Special Adviser on Public Health to Osun State Governor; alongside Dr. Isiaka Adekunle, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health and Dr. Abayomi Oni, Permanent Secretary of the Hospital Management Board (HMB). 

Their expert contributions were vital in evaluating the hospital's readiness to deliver quality healthcare services to the community.

The tour also brought together key leaders and stakeholders in Ife North, including Hon. Michael Akande, Chairman of Ife North Local Government; Vice Chairman Kola Adetunji; Hon. Akindele Ogundare; Hon. Fatai Tijani; Ife North PDP Chairman, Hon. Adesoye Oyewole; Hon. Jibola Ojesola, (State Officer); Hon. Lekan Obisakin (former PDP Chairman Ife North); Hon. Anu Olusegun; Alhaji Ibrahim; Hon. Yinka Odetoye; Hon. Muyideen Olawuni; Hon. Thompson Odunayo; Hon. Abiola Taiwo and Hon. Akinade Chidi among others were also in attendance, further emphasizing the wide range of support for healthcare advancement in the region.

Community representation was strong, with Dr. Israel Akinjogbin, National President of the I.P.U; Mr. Najeem Ibraheem, I.P.U home-based representative; and Mr. Kehinde Oyetunmbi, General Secretary of the IDF; Chief Olusho Ogunrinade (Baba Otun of Ipetumodu) was also in attendance, adding a traditional and cultural dimension to the gathering, and reinforcing the communal support for the facility.

The tour served as a valuable opportunity to inspect the hospital’s infrastructure and reaffirm our shared commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery across Ife North.
