Aare Asejere Joins Distinguished Stakeholders at 40th Birthday Celebration of Rt. Hon. Wale Egbedun.

Osogbo, June 29, 2025.

In a remarkable show of unity, love, and celebration, Aare Abdulganiyu Olaoluwa Asejere, the Honourable Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs in Osun State, joined other prominent stakeholders at the grand 40th birthday celebration of the Honourable Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Wale Egbedun.

The memorable occasion was held at the prestigious Awura Event Center, and had in attendance the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, who graced the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour. Also present were several top government officials including the Honourable Commissioner for Home Affairs, party chieftains, legislators, and other dignitaries, all united in honouring the life and leadership of the Speaker.

The celebration was more than just a birthday party—it became a powerful display of solidarity within the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and a reaffirmation of the unwavering support for Rt. Hon. Wale Egbedun.

In his appreciation remarks, the Speaker expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming support shown to him:

> "Your coming out to celebrate with me today is not just touching—it is a testament to your unwavering love and support. I do not take this for granted."



He went on to praise the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, describing him as a performing leader whose achievements speak for themselves:

> "Seeing is believing. Today, across Osun State, we can witness tangible developments—from the ongoing rehabilitation of all Primary Healthcare Centres, the drilling of boreholes in rural communities, to the construction of major flyovers in Ilesa, Ife, and Osogbo. This administration is delivering results, and it deserves to be re-elected to continue the transformation."



Rt. Hon. Egbedun emphasized that the celebration was not just about his birthday, but a symbolic call for progress, continuity, and collective effort towards building a greater Osun State. He urged all stakeholders to remain committed to the growth and development of the state and to rally behind the vision of the Adeleke-led administration.

Aare Abdulganiyu Olaoluwa Asejere, in his usual people-first approach, was highly visible at the event. Widely recognized for his grassroots-oriented leadership, his presence was notable as a prominent political figure and a leading voice in Osun Central Senatorial District.
