A'Court Judgement: Akindele Hails Verdict, Condemn Osun APC for Misleading the Public
Osogbo, June 14, 2025.
The Former Caretaker Chairman of People's Democratic Party in Osun state, Dr Adekunle Akindele has hail the judgment of the Appeal Court that put a final nail on the sacked local government Yes/No Chairmen and their Councillors in Osun state.
The former PDP helmsman stated that the verdict was sound and of good reasoning, which resonates with what the sensible Public have align with and a victory for the grassroots government in Osun state.
"I hail the Lord Justices of the Appeal Court who have deem it fit to give legal clarity to an already settled course but being deliberately twisted by the Osun APC to serve a self-inflicted purpose and disrupt the good governance Osun is enjoying under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke."
The Chairman of the Special Adviser's Forum in Osun State also condemned the deliberate act of the APC for trying to mislead the public from an obvious clear judgment in a bid to continue to stifle grassroots development in the state.
"The act of the opposition party in the state in misleading public as against the reality is their way to stifle development at the grassroots and the people of the state must see them as an enemy of progress and stand on a united front against this devilish political party.
"Governor Ademola Adeleke has done so well in the state, and having a viable grassroots government at our local councils in the state will complement that but as an enemy of progress that the Osun APC has constituted itself to be, it is waging unnecessary political war in the state to stop this evidential progress the state is witnessing under the PDP government."
"I congratulate all the Chairmen and Councilors elected on the platform of PDP in February 2025, and I urge them to use their good office for the people as they resume promptly to office."
Dr. Adekunle Akindele*,
Chairman Special Adviser's Forum, Osun State._
