Victory at Last: Akinleye Congratulates Principal, Gov. Adeleke

● Glorifies Allah for Renewed Mandate

Osogbo, Sunday August 16, 2026.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, has congratulated his Principal, Governor Ademola Adeleke, on his victory in the just-concluded governorship election and his successful re-election for a second term in office.

Alhaji Akinleye described the victory as a hard-fought one, noting that the contest became particularly intense towards the final stage. He, however, attributed the eventual success to the grace of Almighty Allah and the steadfastness of the people of Osun State. He said, “Indeed, one with God is more than a majority.” stressing that the victory is a reflection of divine favour and the people's confidence in the Governor's leadership.

“With immense joy and a heart full of gratitude, I warmly congratulate my Principal, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, on his well-deserved victory and successful re-election as the Governor of Osun State.

“It was undoubtedly a tough and fiercely contested journey, especially in the final stretch, but through it all, we have every reason to glorify the Almighty Allah, whose grace, mercy and favour have brought us this far. Indeed, one with God is more than a majority, and this victory is a testament to the power of faith, perseverance and the unwavering support of the people.

“I sincerely appreciate the good people of Osun State for standing firm and making their voices heard. I equally commend our dedicated civil servants, workers, youths, women, artisans, professionals, party faithfuls, community leaders and every citizen who contributed in one way or another to this historic victory.

“To all those who believed in the vision, supported the administration and remained steadfast even when the contest became most challenging, this victory belongs to you too. Your commitment to good governance, continuity and the development of our dear state will never be taken for granted.

“Your Excellency, congratulations once again on this remarkable achievement. May Almighty Allah grant you greater wisdom, strength and good health to continue serving the people of Osun State with humility, courage and dedication. The journey continues, and I am confident that the best days of Osun are still ahead.

“Congratulations, Mr. Governor! Congratulations, Osun State! May this victory usher in greater peace, unity, development and prosperity for our dear state.”
